week 7 - Requirements studio

The shots that need to be taken in the studio are one marco, one chrome, a glass and another of your choice. For the chrome shot I plan to take a photo of skateboard trucks with the wheels on this is because Rip Curl is also a skate brand. The marco shot that I am thinking of is to have a beach towel with sand in the fibers. Not really 100% sure yet what to do for the glass shot. The money that will have to be spent for this shot will be buying the product rather than petrol money. The shots will be completed in the studio at CIT, will try and gets in there early before it gets packed out later in the term. Will definitely try and knock the chrome out of the way first because it is the most difficult. Another requirement for the folio is the ability to use camera movement in the studio. This would be achieved by using a tilt shift lens, when using a tilt shift lens it changes the focus from horizontal to vertical it is very obvious to tell the photographers that have used a tilt lens to achieve the results the viewer is looking at. Although tilt shift lens are predominantly used for outdoors to shoot buildings, but could be very use full in a studio setting if the photographer is shooting a vertical object it will all be in focus.
